A solid issue of SUPERGIRL that returns to the mysteries surrounding Kara’s arrival on Earth. I liked the interlude with the Black Banshee as a way to expand Kara’s horizons, as it were, but I’m interested in getting more of Krypton’s story.

Superman makes a guest appearance (with less punching), and if I have one considerable gripe about this issue it’s that Asrar doesn’t really do Superman’s face right.

I’ve consistently enjoyed SUPERGIRL, and this issue is no exception: not to mention it seeds some plot points for next month’s #0 to address, which few series seem to be doing.
