Ugh. This comic has some good points but many, many more poor ones. Its overexplained and polluted with editorial notes and thought balloons. Superboy is really unlikeable, to the point where I didn’t care if he lived or died. The parts with Superman trying to save him using Kryptonian tech are alright but the villain H’El is pretty awful. His power seems to be the ability to do whatever the plot requires coupled with a weird weakness for shirts. I was excited that the Super-titels were going to be more integrated but with this as the mechanism I’m less than thrilled. I’m done with this crossover.
