I’ve always been a fan of the story that completely does a 180 at the end, and Suburban Glamour #4 did just that.  I had been eagerly awaiting the end of the series, but I was really worried that it was going to end too abruptly.  The end of issue 3 was so crazy I didn’t see it getting resolved too well in one issue.  Boy was I a dumbass.  I should’ve never doubted McKelvie.  I loved the ending.  I didn’t see it coming (though maybe I should’ve) and it gave me the happy ending I was hoping for.  The art too, as usual, was great.  I really dig the look and feel of the book.  Some might call the ending a cop-out or anticlimactic but I disagree.  Its definitely a book I’ll re-buy in a trade and loan to my friends who aren’t really into to more Indie comics…yet.
