Batman 5 had a reason for the book turning issue. The narrative was made more real as the reader was virtually trapped in the maze with the caped crusader. In Stumptown #4 Southworth had me lost but then during a crucial, and spectacularly beautiful scene, the narrative came together in a heart/fist pumping crescendo. I can’t say enough good things about the sideways full page jump scene that won me over and made this issue my pick of the week.

A car chase out of a 70’s action movie was given life on the page and I am now a believer.
