Much improved from the first issue, Stormwatch continues to delve into the fact that the moon wants to attack the Earth. And stuff. But that’s about as crazy as anything the Authority faced years ago.

Everything’s tighter in this issue: the art, the plotting, the dialogue. We learn a little more about a few characters, and though there’s still the occasional slightly-too-direct stating of one’s powers (well, rather, now it’s stating of someone else on the team’s powers), this doesn’t feel nearly so much like a first issue that’s trying too hard. This is the Stormwatch I wanted in the first place.
