I accidentally gave this book 3 stars but it should get a 5 all around.  Take the talent of Brubaker and add the beauty that Eaglesham can bring to the page and you have a great book.  There is a panel of Steve coming out of a fountain that is just beautiful to behold.  I think it was Ron who said that Eaglesham does Norman Rockwell superheroes and I tend to agree. It is somewhat rare that the last page or panel of a book makes be generate an involuntary verbal response but this one, did! I have to say now that I have had some time and seen the costume in action, its starting to grow on me.  I had the same reaction that many cap fans had to the new uni.  It the same  reaction we had to the USAgent or just “Captian” togs.  In short, but Eaglesham on any Marvel product and you have a sure fire winner.  Sorry, what can I say……I’m a Zombie!

  1. Couldn’t agree more! I’m totally digging Commander Rogers and would be perfectly happy if he stayed in this position for a long time.

  2. I’m enjoying this series so far, but this cover is horrible!  Commander Rogers’ body is all out of proportion.  And I usually like Pacheco’s work.
