I am a completely new reader of Static and all you need to know is this is a very fun superhero read. He's witty and calculating in the heat of battle. Some of his jokes can be very cheesy unfortunately. Static shines at being able to formulate a plan and execute it while he fights. There is plenty of mystery surrounding his powers and his family, enough to make me want more. Rozum and McDaniel have done a fantastic job of giving us just enough information to keep us entertained and on edge. The ending felt abrupt but promises to possibly keep the villain in circulation. There is a new threat revealed in the grand scheme of shaking up Static's new life. The art continues to be very fun and lively. The coloring is catchy and my only complaint is that Static himself looks goofy from time to time. The cover update caught my attention and stands out among some of the other New 52. Thank you DC for giving Static another chance because he has gained a new fan and I hope to see him integrated into the DCnU for a very long time!
