I loved the first Spider-Man: Noir mini. While not the biggest fan of the art, the story grabbed me, so it made me happy to see there was a sequel.

Reading the first issue, the flow is still there. They’ve built up a great world and I like this Peter Parker.

The villains are excellent Noir interpretations of classic characters.

I was a little disturbed by the lab scene (you’ll know it when you see it) and the ending. But I think the point of those two pages was to get a reaction out of you. Very difficult to look at once you realize what is happening and is going to happen (in the case of the latter)

This looks to be just as brutal as the previous series and although it’s going into even darker territory, I am looking forward to reading this.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 4 - Very Good
