Brendan McCarthy’s art on this is so cool, I eventually stopped reading the somewhat bland story and just oggled the hypnotic lines and the pretty pretty colors.  It’s not that the writing sucks, it’s that the art is sooooooooo much better.  It makes me all atingle for that Matt Fraction/Brendan McCarthy book I heard plugged on the iFanboy front page.
