This issue is simply a bridge from the first volume of “Soulfire” to the second volume and provides new readers a nice jumping on point.  J.T. Krul and Marcus To are taking up a big challenge with continuing on this series after its creator, Michael Turner, has died.  I have little fear that they’ll drop the ball because of their previous work at Aspen, and the simple knowledge how important this series was to Turner. 

If you are a action adventure fan who likes a little bit of magic and even a few dragons in their comic book, I think you’ll have a good time gettig to know these characters and the world of “Soulfire”.
