A very pretty book. I am a huge fan of Scott Kollins art work, not so
much his writing. The stuff with Ivy just seemed to be there so it
would fit in with the Grundy rhyme more than any actual plot
progression or really interesting reason. I also saw that Etrigan was
skulking around by the end of the issue, even though he had his heart
rippped out last issue. I’m unclear on what Cyrus’s abilities are when
he is Grundy and when he isn’t. He shouldn’t have been able to take on,
let alone beat, Ivy’s Ent. And as much as we find it despicable, the
fact that Cyrus beat his wife in the late 1800s is about as unique as
children working in a factory around that time. I’d drop this book
right now if the art wasn’t so pretty.

Story: 1 - Poor
Art: 3 - Good
