The Smallville meeting of Batman and Superman continues and I have to wonder if Bryan Q Miller knows what a fun little Batman story he’s telling despite this being a Superman book. His experience writing Smallville as a TV series shows in this arc as he has to find the most efficient way to introduce and make sense of this version of Batman in 5 issues/40 minutes. This means some great character moments dispersed between some fun if not at times kooky action sequences. If you’re after something with DC flavor, but light on continuity, this Smallville Arc is great.
