This book lost me almost immediately was when Tony Stark started talking about his alcoholism in a clichéd monologue: "I have struggled with the disease of alcoholism... Those are always difficult words to say out loud: 'I am an alcoholic.' It's a sickness and a choice and a curse all rolled into one." Eck! Tony Stark, even post Stark-Disassembled Tony, would never talk about his alcoholism in those terms. It only gets worse from there as Tony talks about his close relationship with Bob, a.k.a. The Sentry. Really? When did Tony and Bob hang out? I know it hasn't been in the last 10 years because Tony hasn't been an active part of the Avengers since Avengers: Disassembled. Can someone point me to the classic issue where Tony and Bob throw back a couple of beers and chase some skirt? There are also questionable appearances from random Marvel characters: Daredevil, Cyclops, Rogue, The Fantastic Four and Emma Frost. Have Daredevil and The Sentry ever been on panel together? Ever? And, none of Bob's New Avengers team members thought enough of him to show up? That doesn't speak too highly of him, does it? The art is serviceable but nothing to write home about as some of the angles are just strange and make the characters seem mishapped. The layouts are also very standard and boring after awhile. The coloring was good but not terrific. Also, this book loses another point for the spoilerific title and cover. Furthermore, the warning on the inside cover is completely pointless -- unless you don't have eyes, or know how to read, in which case how would you read the warning in the first place, you've already had Siege #4 ruined for you by the simple act of picking up this book and looking at the cover. Idiots! If I could give this book a score of zero, I would.
