Marvel has been putting out Front Line titles in association with every big crossover event for the last few years.  They’ve mostly been unappealing to me.  But this issue was far better than the main title’s first issue.  And I’m very curious to see where Brian Reed is going to take this story, and if it will be impactful to the main storyline.

  1. Like you, I have not had any interest in the "front line" companion books to previous events. I really just picked this up on a whim because I was curious to see Samnee’s art to compare it to The Mighty, but I am incredibly glad I did. I thought this issue was fantastic. Pick of the week for me of the books I have read this week.

  2. I thought this issue was a big pile of "meh"

  3. This title doesn’t even have to impact the main book, I just like the view point of Ben Urich.  I’m sick of reading 22 pages of a single battle, i like more substance.  This has it.
