Finally, this is what I've been waiting for. Thank you Mr. Hickman for starting to bring these divergent story lines together and developing characters other than Nick Fury. Recent issues of this series have been all over the place, lacking any cohesive focus or substantial character development. Specifically, Hickman has faltered in telling us who these characters are and why we should care about them. This issue starts to course correct by making me care about the Secret Warriors, especially Daisy, and setting up the third piece of the puzzle: Leviathan. The game is finally all set up and ready to begin and Im actually excited to see how it all plays out. Specifically, the last page left me wondering whether Nick Fury is as smart as we all think he is. The art was weak but not bad enough to take me out of the story. A better artist, or Hickman himself, may have been a better choice for this series but the art won't prevent me from continuing to follow Hickman's career.
