Continuing from last week’s “Suicide Squad” issue, Ostrander and Simone prove that it’s possible to write a really intriguing Blackest Night story where The Black Lanterns aren’t the focal point.  Sure, there’s lots of dead people floating around, but the story mostly revolves around the characters who are still alive.

Calafiore’s art is adequate, but not very spectacular.  And there was one two page spread that wasn’t immediately apparent as a two page spread.
