Spacespionage would be my favorite genre, if there were enough comics that fell into that category.  Aliens.  Intrigue.  Ambiguously interfering Nick Fury.  The Serpent Crown.  Mars.  The inclusion of Nova in this lineup has made this my favorite Avengers book by far.  The ending of the “story seven years in the making”  appears to have given Bendis  and Brubaker more time to have fun rather than intertwine everything into a giant Marvel plot.  And I’m loving this odd space opera (which will probably turn into some huge Cosmic Marvel/Avengers crossover in a year, but that’s fine).

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 4 - Very Good
