So this book was pretty good. The story was a blast and I loved the outcome. It probably would have been a five if not for the art, which had hick-ups here and there and made Steve look more like Duke from Devil’s Due’s old GI Joe run, and the characterization of Steve. Is it just me or has Marvel decided to change who Cap is at his core? This title and Fear Itself have depictions of Steve as if he was replaced by the awful 50s Captain America. Is Marvel’s editorial just sleeping on this or has there been a real shift? Just a thought.
