I guess I’m just ignorant.

I mean, I enjoy the Disney bashing as much
as the next guy, but I completely miss the point of this

Is it about
consumer culture? Is the whole point of this book that corporations are
insidiously taking over our society and even if we find a way to take
out one, it will just grow a new head?

Is it about the cliches of
superhero comics? How they tend to cluster together and share the same
mental disorders to renew their psychosis?

Was it just weird to be
weird?

I really have no clue on this. I am not a Morrison hater. Far
from it, actually, as I’ve read everything the guy has ever written.
Well except for Kill Your Boyfriend which is sitting on my shelf right
now waiting for me.

Regardless, the art was too cartoony and I didn’t
enjoy a page of this comic. I  can’t even say I appreciate the craft of
this book.

  1. I kinda dug the art, but I read all three issues of this and got absolutely nothing out of it.  Batman & Robin 1, however, was badass.
