How in the holy fuck can a book this depressing be so satisfyingly good? Are we that deranged a society that seeing the pain and suffering of other people, hell FICTIONAL characters, is considered good entertainment. Well I guess I am because this issue was fantastic. Aaron starts us off in a happy place and, throughout the course of the issue, takes us on an emotional journey that gives us hope, joy, pain, anger, hate, regret, heartache, everything. This is almost like how people describe Johan Hex. Every time the right choice is presented to us, the wrong path is taken. Just phenominal. It’s 4:00 pm and time to leave work so that’s all a review you get.
