Who knew that the combination of Wolverine, Shanna the She-Devil and Frank Cho would add up to equal a Thursday night sit-com? The second issue of the series takes us down a different corridor with a series of one-liners and sight gags plus the expected dinosaur combat and stunning renderings of Ms. She-Devil in her usual animal skin bikinni uniform. The story does seem to evolve, though I have no clue where it’s going and sometimes get the sinking feeling neither does Mr. Cho. Hopefully I’m wrong. Though there’s not enough cohesion here yet to give it a strong thumbs up, the art, the mystery (and yes, even a few of the jokes) are enough to keep me coming back for more.
