I began reading savage dragon on the advice of Ron(podcast a few weeks ago), who suggested picking up this title at issue 145. I had no connection or knowledge of this character before issue 145. Needless to say, I was completely impressed with issue 145 and I was easily convinced to continue reading this series. Issue 146, continues a compelling story through the perspective of an old love of savage dragon. The circumstances in the life of savage dragon continue to sprill down hill and his life…. simple put, sucks! Erik Larsen creates an interesting life situation for savage dragon, which can not get any worse – a reader can’t  help but feel bad for this character. Larsen is successful in establishing a “real life” situation where the “bad guys” are truely bad, the vicious circle, is well vicious. Orzechowski’s art is sketchy – but it works for this book. Pick up this story, you will not be disappointed.
