Better than Saga this week!
Cornell blows this series wide open with this issue – separating it out from, while cleverly incorporating all the other pop culture takes on UFOs of the last 50 years (even V!). His love for this topic just jumps off the page, and I really hope he gets years to explore it.
And Jimmy Broxton – wow. The art on this series has been good, but this is exceptional. His variety of styles depicting different perspectives on the UFO phenomenon brings dynamism to what is essentially an issue in which a scientist gives a slide presentation.
He brings a lot of Toth inspired inky blacks to the present tense of the story, and some of it definitely deserves to make Panels of the Week.
You need to be buying this book.
