And so a very entertaining comic series comes to an end with an overly imagery filled whimper of an end.

For a series that started with a great concept and excellent puzzles that built one upon the other, it seems to have left the rails about 5 issues back (with the “resurrection”) and never seemed to be able to get back on track.

When I first started this series I always explained it to friends and family as “The DaVinci Code but with a better premise and better written”. To which I now need to add, “but ends with the same level of hokeyness and suddenness”.

The art in this entire series, especially this last strech by Mr. Ferreryra, has been top notch and always worth the bimonthly purchase. The level of detail that he creates is reason enough to not expect this comic any more than bimonthly, as it is most excellent. Easy on par with any of the industry greats currently working.
