It’s sad to see so many people dropping this after the first issue because the book seems to really connect here. Sara getting her hair changed really threw me off but besides that execution of a post-apocalyptic mysteriously successful town seems great. I like how we’re getting a main story now, and then a backup (actually ironically, this feels like a second feature) that can either zoom in on the story and explore character or zoom out and explore the world. I’m not a huge fan of the art but I like the use of shadows. If you dropped it after the first issue, pick this back up.
