I liked this issue okay, but it still has a lot of the problems the
first issue had.

I appreciate that Tim is the best detective in the
group because he’s the only one to figure out that Bruce isn’t dead,
but just because you’re a detective, doesn’t necessitate being grim and
gritty.

Not to beat a dead horse, but Tim used to be such a light
hearted character, and I know he’s been through a great ordeal and all
that, but seriously there has to be a healthier way to work it out.

Yost apparently knows the character’s supporting cast well, so I have
hopes for this title after it settles down to be recognizable as a Tim
book.

I really hope that when Conner or Bart shows up they’ll be
merciless with the Red Robin name, and call him everything from a
communist to a fast food restaurant.

The art was fine and the story was
okay.

It was just a glorified fight issues, and there was a large
amount of cliches in that as well. The team of assassins were all
highly specialized in their one area, but only their one area.
Something stupid tipped off Tim they were about to shoot him. He got
information from their boss on the end of the phone. Just a large
amount of things.

It wasn’t a bad issue, but it wasn’t a good Tim story
at all.
