While you don’t HAVE to read the Batgirl issue in order to follow what’s going here, Yost and Miller did a nice job making this story read as though it were written by one author.  The only difference is that you get Tim’s inner-monologues instead of Stephanie’s.

I enjoyed this issue a bit more than part one (Batgirl #8), but that’s mostly because To and McCarthy’s art made for a much smoother and visually appealing journey.
