For those who always thought Braniac 5 from the Legion always deserved his own series R.E.B.E.L is the story for you.

R.E.B.E.L is about Viril Dox, the son of the original Brainiac and a distant ancestor of Brainiac 5.Viril Dox is just like his descendant with his cool under pressure attitude that sometimes comes off as arrogant. He believes that science can explain everything and believes that sacrifice for the greater good is ok. For me, I always found this character very interesting to see how far he goes and he sometimes comes off as funny.

He started the organization called Licensed Extra-Governmental Interstellar Operatives Network or for short L.E.G.I.O.N that protected worlds for a hefty price. Throughout the years Dox had turned his organization from a human force to a robotic one. Dox became the only living thing in L.E.G.I.O.N and him and his computer ran it. Now someone has taken control of the computer and the rest of L.E.G.I.O.N away from Dox and now he is on the run. The reason why Dox escaped is because he was forewarned by Brainiac 5. Now he has to find out who took L.E.G.I.O.N away from him and why. The best part about this series is while he doges bounty hunter looking to collect the large bounty on his head, Dox never breaks a sweat.
