I’m a little drunk….so ifanbase…please bar with me.

I’m not a big punisher fan. I feel like the character is a rinse and repeat kind of character.BUT… when i heard Remender was doing this Frankencastle arc, i had to give it a shot.

Wow. This book has been the most fun book i’ve read the past three months in a row. The cheesey one liners, rediculous situations and gratuitous violence leaves me BEGGING for more Frankencastle.

As much as i love Moore’s art from the first Walking Dead arc, being black and white, i feel like he is a perfect fit for this arc/book in color. Just an amazing storyteller from an art standpoint.

Morbius. I’ll leave it at that. he wasnt in it that much in this ish, but still, im happy to see him again and in a different artistic light.

Thanks remender and moore, you’ve made me fall in love with a character i had absolutely no interest in 4 months ago.

Story: 5 - Excellent

  1. Franken Castle …really ? Am I the only one who thinks that that is just stupid … what happens when this arc is over , Does the next writer just ignore it , or do they have one of Marvel’s super genius charecters repair a vigilante murdrerer and set him loose on the streets of New York . Do the editors at Marvel think of these things before they make such a stupid decision ? Or do they just aim for the Marvel Zombie fan who just wants more violence and bloodshed ?

  2. Well lets be honest… how many angles does Frank Castle have? New crime family … Castle hunts them … gets hurt … refuels/reloads … kills them. Do this over a couple different ongoings and a mini here and there and it i really repeditive. I love this idea because it’s fun. It’s rediculous. It’s entertaining. As soon as he goes back to normal ol’ Frank Castle, the Punisher (which from what remender said, wont happen for a while) then i’ll be dropping this book. Remender is a great writer, but i just get so tired of the character.

If you’re a big punisher fan, at least there are more books out there that have, maybe, your "ideal" concept of Frank Castle.
