IMAGINATIVE, INNOVATIVE and INSANE! This book has consistently been an excellent read but when Brandon Graham and Simon Roy team up it’s goddamn perfect. Just as I was starting to familiarize myself with all of the John Prophets wandering the cosmos they introduce a “New Day Co-Op” style quorum with about eight different types of prophets designed for survival in various types of environments and follow it up with a perfectly paced Eastern Promises style bathhouse fight scene which leads to what appears to be some very sexy times.
The back up story is not related in any way to the Prophet story but it is definitely worth a read. This book earns my $3.99.
