I really enjoyed this issue. The art was amazing, the story was really cool. Unfortunately, this issue is a victim of how great the past three have been. Phonogram #3 was one of my favorite comic issues this year because not only was it fun and awesome, but it also had a very interesting character.

This issue is very cool, but I just felt like it didn’t measure up to the last three. Frankly, I care less about the two characters featured in this issue than any other in the series.  Part of it maybe that I don’t have as much passion for the Pipette’s or Blondie, but I think it’s just that I didn’t feel like that much was going on. If anything, it kind of made me want to go back to issues 1-3 and read them again to see the interactions of the past characters; which is what Gillen was may have been going for. 🙂

Pros:
Awesome art
Simple & Cute Dialogue
Cute & Simple story

Cons:
Not as good as #1-3

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 5 - Excellent
