Looking at the nicely done cover I thought this was story about a young Peter Parker (the reason I used to love Ultimate Spider-Man).  I opened it up instead to find a story that looks like it was written as a fill in between regular arcs but wasn’t good enough to make Amazing Spider-Man.  The main plotline is just bad and the villian has and I quote Spidey here, “The Power to Screw Up All Color Perception.”

The art looks rushed or amateurish, maybe both.  I really need to read the preview material better.
