I picked this up because Keith Giffen was involved and I was ok with most of the book. I love the Outsiders and loved what Tomasi was doing with it–then cam Didio. He makes a mess of the team (two teams of Outsiders on opposite sides? Hey, Dan, it was already done in the 90s by creator Mike Barr–and BETTER) and his creation of Freight Train is easily the stupidest character name in years. i don’t think Didio has ever read an Outsider comic in his life, as Geo-Force and Katana (who have both been around for 3 decades) are completely unrecognizable. Here’s hoping the relaunch will get the team back on track.
