Another solid issue (aside from #1 which I didn’t take to very well) in this mini-series.  The art was exceptional.  As I’ve mentioned before, I’m not a huge fan of the style, but I recognize how good Ryp is.  This issue, however, I felt compelled to bump the art up to a 5 simply for the opening splashes; terrifying work that seem to be the best possible fit for his exceptionally detailed style.

The story, while solid, was paced a tad slowly for me, hence the 3.  Overall it was the story that tilted my rating to 3 simply because I wasn’t as blown away as in the last issue.  Still good stuff and looking forward to next issue and the revelations concerning the superpower!
