Yes.  Yes.  Yes.  Yes.  Yes.

A satisfying chapter in the post-Alias, post-Secret Invasion Luke Cage & Jessica Jones.  Easily the best single issue character development Bendis has done for Marvel.   This was a nice ease-in to the New Avengers vs. Dark Avengers.  It felt like an issue that happened to take place before a major event.  Not an “I’M SETTING UP FOR A CROSSOVER, SO HERE’S SOME IMPORTANT PLOT DEVELOPMENTS” announcement like we got before Secret Invasion.  It was like sitting in a darkened theater, inbetween the writer and director, who make no comment throughout the entire movie, but just as the credits roll, you stand up and applaud, and he whispers “I think you’re going to like the sequel.”

Bravo, Mr. Bendis.  Bravo.

I’m still not totally sold on the new Muddy Marvel look.  But some of the Venom panels were fantastic.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 4 - Very Good
