I picked this up because my best friends coworker wrote this. It was not what I thought it was. It was…odd. Centered around a female assassin, the book follows her on a few “hits” and on the second one, suddenly everyone busts out superpowers. Not where I expected this book to go at all. A solid first issue, introducing the characters and setting up the plot, I’ll def. continue to get this series to help support friends and Murder(Maryland)land, I just hope it gets more interesting.
