What an ugly book in every sense of the word. To start with, it was a
horrible tease to put Phil Jiminez on the cover and then give us this
artist. It looks so amateur, especially how he’s drawing Carol. As for
the story, I undertand that this book is showing how things are darker
now than they have ever been, but I liked Karla in Thunderbolts. I
thought it was really interesting seeing her go from manipulative bitch
to moderatly redeemed hero. Of course all of that development was
pissed away when Ellis took over the book, so I guess it was only a
matter of time coming. Still, this book was ugly and violent and not at
all entertaining. I can’t wait for Carol to come back, even if her
powers are completely different. 4/10
