I just recently started reading the new Moon Knight ongoing series after I had heard how great it was. I picked up the first six issues at my local comic shop, and prepared myself for number seven, which was sure to drop a few bombs. The first six issues were very good, and I was excited to see the unveiling of the super-villain trying to take over L.A. in issue seven. In this issue, for the first time, Moon Knight goes head to head with his new nemesis, Count Nefaria, and while the battle is brief it is epic. Most of the issue revolves around Moon Knight's assistant Buck, and his plot to lure Count Nefaria out into the open, and while that may not sound too interesting, my attention was thoroughly kept due to Alex Maleev's beautiful artwork. His pencils are great, and I have a feeling people will be talking about him and this run for years to come. All in all, this is a great issue with fantastic artwork and excellent storytelling. I would have liked a bit more action, but this doesn't take away from the overall positive way I feel about this issue. Definitely pick it up if you've been following the series.
