Matt Kindt is amazing. When reading a book of his, it’s easy to close your eyes and watch the movie of what you are reading. He takes the main storyline and, in everything that he does, he peppers you with vignettes of one form or another that add to, deepen, enrich, and expand without cluttering or slowing the story down. In this book, they come in the form of a historical aspect that Mind Mgmt was involved in and a short explanation of the members of Mind Mgmt. Even with his sketchy art, it’s easy to tell one character from another.

When I picked this one up, I went into the small box and re-read the first one. That’s the first time I’ve done that in a long time…and I didn’t do it because I forgot what had happened…I did it because I wanted to read it all together.

This book is amazing, Matt Kindt assumes that the reader is intelligent and doesn’t play down to you, and it’s one of my favorite books coming out right now.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 5 - Excellent

  1. I agree with you on the rereading. It took me an hour or so to read each issue. Truly amazing book.
