Berserker is a book with endless potential. The first issue started with a bang and ended with a boom. What impressed me most was how we came to care for the two main charecters and there situation so quickly. we’re also given a glimpse into the world of the two secret organizations that are linked to the mysterious rage that grips our hero’s. And at the end we’re given a scene between one of the protagonists and his girlfreind so chilling that it will surely have ramifications on the series for months to come. ultimately what this issue reveals is two things: The main enemy of the series is’nt the shadow organizations hanging in the back ground, but the rage that festers inside the protagonists themselves. And that it can be controlled eventually, which will lead our hero’s down a path of self destruction or redemption.
