This definitely took a turn I wasn’t expecting. Then again, I never know where this book is going…and that’s just awesome!
This is a quiet book in that it doesn’t get the attention it deserves, but it reminds us what you can do with storytelling in a comic. It takes full advantage of the serialized nature of comics with it’s cliffhangers. Even the so-called “filler issues” are really good.
Alpha One throws us a curveball and when you see the lengths he’s gone to accomplish his vision, you’re stunned by his dedication to his goals, but appauled by the way he got there.
Pick up The Mighty.

Every month, I joke with the guys at the LCS about how I can’t wait until this book reaches its finale at #12. Don’t get me wrong; I don’t want this story to stop. Next to TWD and Criminal, I highly anticipate this book each month. But I get the sense that nobody’s reading it. Perhaps it’s just the sense I get from my store, but I love this book to pieces. How long is it supposed to go anyway? Did DC doom it by not putting out on one of their other store brands. Thanks, the Mighty–looking forward to #12.
