I wasn't going to read this, but my friend picked it up because he's a huge Black Cat fan and said he liked it, so I gave it a try.

This book occupies the same realm that Sex and the City does to me, a complete and utter mystery why anyone would be interested in it. I'm sure the SitC similarities are completely coincidental.

I like 3/4 of the cast, but they're just so damn stereotypical catty females that I could not give less of a damn about them.

I don't care who they slutted around with, I don't care about female pride and being on your own and any of that.

 I don't necessarily need action in all my comics, but I would like it if the characters had more depth than the average puddle.

This book seemed like it knew the history of the characters pretty well, with Monica in NO and Felicia with Puma and Angela's cancer. It seemed to know the history and just rest on that without adding anything to it other than drunken whorishnes.

 The art was fine, but not too impressive. Nothing screamed innovative or unique, so I'll probably be passing up on the next issue.
