i really want to drop this book but it won’t let me.

I want to drop it because i have no idea who any of the characters are, what the story is supposed to be about or how exactly any of this is happening. but all of that is besides the point, i don’t buy this book for the story, to be honest i don’t buy it for the art either.

I buy this book for the layout’s and the concepts. I started with issue three, in which Allred mimics  over a hundred other artists in tribute in some psychedelic way, then came the silent issue, and now one that is completely double page spreads. I don’t read these for the story (i just realized there are three of them i have yet to actually read) to me these books are a tutorial on the craft of a comic book and i am pulled in over and over again by it.

damn you Mike Allred! damn you! but here is my three dollars again!
