Wow, I don’t think I could love this comic anymore. I’ve been reading the rest of the series in trade but switched to singles for this last arc and I’m glad I did because I would’ve probably missed out on one of the best single issues of the year. The story takes a bit of a break to focus on Rufus who quickly became my favorite character. It’s tragic what happened to him but looks like he’s using that tragedy to become the unsung hero of the story. As always Hill’s awesome story is brought beautifully to life by Rodriguez’s art. This guy has got some chops for conveying personality and emotion on the characters, especially evident by how adorable the interaction between Kinsey and her friends are while getting ready for the Prom. Can’t. Wait. For. Next. Issue.
