Briefly: this ends the confrontation between the Legion and the Legion of Super-Villains plus attempts to tie up the ongoing resurrection of the Green Lantern Corp taking place. If you’ve been following LoSH you’ll guess who makes the ultimate sacrifice shown on the cover as it nicely finishes an interesting character development over the last few years. As always with LoSH there’s so many characters crammed into so few panels that it’s difficult to keep up with what’s going on.

I get the feeling, however, that what Levitz had planned – especially the subplot involving the Green Lanterns – was intended to develop more slowly and extend into a long story arc. Perhaps it’ll play out in forthcoming reboot. It just felt a little too clipped (and, sadly, predictable) at the end.

Overall, if you’re a Legion fan, you’ll enjoy this and be looking forward to TWO LoSH titles starting next month.
