On a Down note...

I was thoroughly looking forward to this issue. I have not read legion of three worlds or most of the adventure comics run by Johns or Robinson, only coming in on issue 9. I wanted to read this issue for two reason's. One, to get into the legion like so many people in comic book geekdom and Two, because Paul Levitz's name is one of only about ten creators i know, lame i know. So i grabbed this issue with high hopes. My first impression was, I felt he introduced several characters pretty effortlessly while setting up the context of what has happened and what the status quo is in the 31st century is. I enjoyed how fluid the story moved and i enjoyed the art. However im not sure how much i like the fact that he destroyed an entire moon and sent a legionarre back in time as well as gave a green lantern ring to a criminal all withing 22 page. My final opinion is i like this book very much and will continue to read as long as he doesn't blow up earth and Oa in one panel.
