This isn't the James Robinson of Starman, but it's as close as he's been for a while. I've enjoyed much of his Justice League run, and appreciate how he used the absence of "name" characters like Superman and Wonder Woman to his advantage, gathering a young, diverse team (has much attention been paid to the fact that DC's premier team book features four female characters in central roles?) and staying true to their unique voices. In issue 60 he gives each character reasonable excuses for wanting to leave the team, and uses that break-up conversation to tease this League's untold adventures, all of which sound quite cool. It's tempting to read those recollections as a not-so subtle rebuff to the DC reboot for interrupting Robinson's future plans, but Dick Grayson and Donna Troy's conversation about memory and legacy in the issue's final pages suggests otherwise. Daniel Sampere's art is reminiscent of Howard Porter's work on JLA, which isn't a bad thing at all. All in all, a perfect end to a run that deserves more attention.

This was my pick of the week even though I gave it a four star. Other books had five, but this I enjoyed the most.
