If there's one thing I can't stand, it's chatty villains. Especially villains that are so chatty, they explain what they're doing (and, inevitably, what the hero is doing) as the action happens. And here, we have a villain who's raison d'etre is explain aloud every action, reaction, what is and what may be. And really, I don't care that much about Vixen, so that doesn't help much either. Mercifully, the next issue is the conclusion of this arc, and it looks as though Vixen will end up in the world of Palladin-Batman, Dead Superman, and Donna Troy-lookin' Wonder Widow. So... I'm hoping that issue will be a little more interesting. This issue, however, was decompressed, over-explained lead-up. Honestly, I would have gotten the point of this story with a few pages of Anansi... didn't really need a few dozen.

Agreed. The villain explaining everything that happened felt like McDuffie just put his notes for the story into the script to fill up the extra sized issue. It was very annoying to read.
