I was enjoying Winnick’s Batwing until the story moved to Gotham and became another bat book. I am more intrigued with the idea of Batwing in the JLI then I am of him with the Bat family.

I’m not sure why I haven’t picked up any issues of The New 52’s JLI. I loved The Brightest Day Run. And this issue was good enough that I want to go back and check out the previous arcs.

I still wish Batwing would remain stationed in Africa (or, at least somewhere that isn’t Gotham). But I’m happy to follow him here, with the hopes that Morrison will get custody of him for Batman Incorporated.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 3 - Good
