We get to see the team in the aftermath of Peraxxus's assault. As of last issue there is still a threat that has yet to be revealed, but in the mean time we are shown how the JLI act while not on duty. Some seek out threats to vanquish and others unknowingly end up in danger. The ending alone showcases the entire team spiraling in a radical new direction. I welcome this change wholeheartedly! My main gripe with Jurgens is that he has given us no insight into Fire. Every other member of the team has contributed dialogue or actions that portray their personalities and strengths. We have gotten to know every team member but her. With the way this issue ends I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up dead or out of commission.
